Located at the bottom of the Microsoft PhotoDraw workspace, the status bar displays a range of information about your active picture and about the workspace.
| Item | Purpose |

| Show/Hide button (A, above) | Shows or hides the picture list. |
| Progress bar (B) | Indicates that a certain action is occurring รน for example, that PhotoDraw is applying an effect to a selected object. |
| Position information (C) | Indicates the position of the upper-left corner of the current selection. Negative values appear whenever you move your object off the picture area.
If nothing is selected, or if you're using certain tools, the current position of the mouse pointer is displayed. |
| Size information (D) | Indicates the size of the current selection.
If nothing is selected, the size of the picture area is displayed. |
| Show/Hide button (E) | Shows or hides the workpane. |
